Accounts Assistant to the Customer Invoice Unit

Your Workplace

The Planning and Finance Department is in the midst of a development journey where the organization is being digitalized and the infrastructure modernized. We are now looking for two employees for our Financial Services who want to join us in developing our processes and ways of working. It is important for us to have fun at work and for everyone to contribute to a good work environment!

Financial Services consists of the Customer Invoice Unit and the Supplier Unit and belongs to the Planning and Finance Department. Financial Services currently consists of 21 employees working as accounts assistants. Our main task is to handle Region Värmland's supplier and customer invoices. An important part of the mission for the units is to be a service organization where we provide support and advice to colleagues within the region as well as to our residents who contact the Customer Invoice Unit's helpdesk.

Your Tasks

As part of our team, you will work with service and support for our colleagues, customers, and suppliers via all our contact platforms, reconciliation, and other tasks provided by each unit. As an employee with us, we want you to contribute to streamlining and developing our work processes.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for someone with an education in business administration, preferably from a university or equivalent work experience that we consider equivalent. Good verbal and written skills in Swedish and English are required.

Other language skills are an asset, as well as experience in customer service or other service professions. In addition to a basic understanding of accounting, you have an interest in digitalization and automation. You are accustomed to working with the Office suite, and it is also an advantage if you have knowledge of the accounting system Raindance.

To thrive in the role of accounts assistant and succeed in the job, we are looking for someone who is structured, solution-oriented, responsible, and service-minded. It is important for us that you complete your tasks accurately and treat both colleagues, customers, and suppliers in a pleasant manner. You are driven by development, creating a positive customer experience, and enjoy learning new ways of working and developing new work processes. If you also have experience in driving processes, that is an advantage. With us, you work independently but also in teams, so it is essential that you are good at collaborating and that you are a positive and open person!
